Father's Day Card

Inside of card made by my grandson for his father (with help from Gma Sandy) We used brown cardstock and added the "DAD" tag from a kit i received---then he wrote his message in pencil and we used my special sticky pen to write over it---when that dried we added green sparkle rub on to the letters.

Front of card---Travis chose the cardstock pattern he wanted and the accent border. This was double sided cardstock from the same kit as the inside tag. the accent is the back side of the stripes. We use a "June" pattern paper and cut out the "father's Day par and a blank matching part to write "Happy" on. We again used my special pen to make the letters sticky and added rainbow sparkles to the letters.

I think it came out pretty well--especially since this is my grandson's 1st time with any scrapbooking and he is only 5 yrs-old.

Pages from my Step-Daughter's Book

These are all of her new puppy, Otto. I am working on an album for her of friends, family, and her past and present animals. I was able to finish these and more at our S2L CA crop on April 19th. I was able to find some really cute dog paper at Michaels that all coordinated and could be adapted for an 8x8 album.

Some more Disney pages from class all of these also have "pop-outs" on them. All are from the Disney Carts. Minnie's dots on her bow and dress were punched from a hole punch and added each one separately. I will try to get more of Disney pages up soon. I plan on using most of them for the Disney world Trip we went on a few years ago. Maybe with the summer break, I can get some "finished" with pics.
This was for the S2L 2nd Friendship swap---again I made 20. This time I had my brand new Cricut Expressions. all the characters, flowers, grass, and honey pot are from the Pooh Character Cart and the lettering from the Pooh Fonts cart. The front pic (my dh & I) was taken in March 2008 at the Monster Truck World Finals in Las Vegas, NV. Tigger is "holding another pic of my grandson and I reading that slides into the pocket. I used the shadow option to cut several extra honey pots for the journaling.

2nd page---1st Class

These were done also in Jan. 2008 at my 1st scrapbooking class at my LSS. Our instructor, Jen, is really into Disney, so I take most of her classes and get some of her old kits. These I did "as instructed" The characters are from the Disney Princess Cart, I think. Now I go to the classes, but I often "change things up" in the layouts to personalize the pages. I still need to get pics on most all of my pages.

My 1st Scrapbook Page

This was my very 1st page I had ever done. It was for our S2L Friendship swap. I think it also qualifies for using the color yellow--you think? I had to make 20 of these pages. I used a die cut to cut the letters one at a time--I didn't have a cricut yet---boy did that take a LONG time. The picture was one my 5yr old grandson took of me on Christmas Eve 2007.
